Eric Gioia Hit With $72K Fine For Violating Campaign Finance Laws

Former Sunnyside/Woodside councilman Eric Gioia got slammed last Thursday with a wallet-busting $72,402 fine for violating a slew of campaign finance laws while running for public advocate in 2009.
