More than 100 local residents turned out with paint brushes and rollers today to join Sunnyside United’s graffitti removal event. With the renovation of the Sunnyside library near completion, the small space that has housed a temporary library will close May 7. Twenty blocks along Queens Boulevard that run through Sunnyside and Woodside have been renamed after the late Congressman Thomas J. Manton Boulevard.
