Sunnysiders Remove Graffitti

More than 100 local residents turned out with paint brushes and rollers today to join Sunnyside United’s graffiti removal event.

Volunteers arrived at the Sunnyside Reform Church on Skillman Ave. at 10:00 am. The organizers split the volunteers into groups of five to seven people and sent them out to trouble spots throughout the northern section of Sunnyside. The organizers formed more than 10 groups.

Sunnyside United has conducted two events per year, one in spring and the other fall, for the past seven years. For more information go to the site and sign up.
