A beauty salon is opening at 42-20 Greenpoint Ave at the former location of Sugar & Joe. Sugar & Joe,  which was best known for selling cupcakes, closed in January 2010.

Tattoo parlor opens on Greenpoint

A tattoo parlor opened in Sunnyside yesterday, the second such establishment to do so in the past 18 months. The parlor, located at 42-16 Greenpoint Ave., is owned and operated by Brian Lynch. A barber shop is slated to take the space vacated by Jennifer Accessories on Queens Blvd (between 42nd and 43rd), according to workers who are in the midst of renovating the space.
