Police are searching for two men who robbed a Sunnyside pharmacy Tuesday and stole drugs.
The suspects allegedly entered Greenpoint Pharmacy, located at 40-26 Greenpoint Ave., at around 12:31 p.m. before going behind the counter area and stealing two bottles of prescription drugs.
Police said that when the men entered the pharmacy they told a 74-year-old male employee that they had a gun. They then flung the elderly man to the ground and carried out the robbery.
The assailants then got into a gray 4-door sedan and fled the scene in an eastward direction, according to police.
The first suspect is described as dark-skinned and was wearing black sunglasses a the time of the incident. He was also wearing a blue surgical mask over his face, white gloves, a gray hooded sweater, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers.
The second individual is also described as dark-skinned and was seen wearing black sunglasses. He was wearing a blue surgical mask over his face, white gloves, a black hooded sweater, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
The police have released video footage and images of the two men wanted for questioning.

Maybe they just looted some new footwear and clothing.
They was after the drugs not cash.
If I recall correctly, this place was robbed once before. It doesn’t seem like aa place that would have lots of cash in the register.
