Man struck by 7-train this morning, resulting in heavy delays for riders

A man was struck by the 7 Train this morning in Corona, causing heavy delays for rush hour commuters.

According to the police, a 38-year-old Hispanic man fell on the tracks at about 6:40 am at the 103rd Street-Corona Plaza stop.

It is not known if he jumped or was pushed, the police said. He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.

He should pay our cab fare. 1 hour of traffic on the bridge in the rain of course. Heard he lost a leg and arm. Terrible.
