Woodside Corrections Officer Charged for Wife Beating

A 43 year old corrections officer attacked his wife in their Woodside home on Monday evening in front of their 9 year old daughter, according to court documents.

Mohammed A.Ali allegedly dragged his wife by the legs across the living room floor and then punched her several times in the face, causing redness and welling.

The incident occurred on Feb. 20 between 8:45 pm and 8:50 pm, according to court records. The victim was treated at a local hospital.

Ali faces charges, such as assault in the third degree, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
