Suspect (NYPD) at 54th and Skillman Avenue (Google)

The police are looking for a man who allegedly raped a 20-year-old woman on Skillman Avenue, near P.S. 11, on Friday.
Police say that the man followed the woman in the vicinity of 54th Street and Skillman Avenue at around 10:40 p.m., Friday 15, before then striking up a conversation with her. He then threw the woman against a car and then raped her, police said.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated and released.
The person wanted for questioning is described as Hispanic with a light complexion. The NYPD has released video of the suspect.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
Update: The time of the incident was at 10:40 p.m. Earlier it was reported as 8:40 p.m.

There was a gunpoint robbery Friday on 54th street and woodside ave around the same time of this incident. I wonder if it’s the same suspect.

This is frightening to hear! Can the Police blow the picture up you can barely see his face! By the way where are the police in our neighborhood? The most I’ve ever seen was at the rally at 46th Street last year as if we were going to riot!
