Goblines, witches and ghosts of Sunnyside/Woodside.

Scare up the outside of your house or apartment door with all things Halloween by Wednesday, October 30th at dusk.

Nominate your own home/apartment or a friend’s by sending the resident’s name and address to sunnysidepost@gmail.com (with a photo) before 9pm on Wednesday, October 30.

Then, the photos will be posted on this site October 31—and a poll will be conducted. The neighborhood will decide the ultimate winners.

The owner of the house/apartment voted best will receive a $150 gift certificate from Bar 43; the second place winner will receive a $50 gift certificate from Arriba Arriba; and the third place recipient, a $50 gift certificate from Claret Wine Bar.

Is Sunnyside going to do a Halloween march for the kids like in LIC? What time do the kids start to trick-or-treat? It’s sad when you live in a building – no trick or treaters!

The prizes are pretty cool… but $50-$150 gift card (cash) towards rent/mortgage would be cooler. Just saying.
