Best I carry my fully licensed defense mechanism. When seconds count and the police are minutes away. For those who choose not to defend themselves that’s their choice. The ones that choose to defend themselves will indeed defend themselves.

Obvi this is bike lanes duh. But also, do not let your fox watching boomer rents get a piece, they’ll get up in the middle of the night and just shoot any ole rando who looks like they might have attended a DNC rally ‘cuz they heard something and Obama! Next thing you know the victims family’s lawyer owns the condo and you’re stuck on an upstate bus ride because too much Tucker Carlson.

What does people moving into the neighborhood have to do with this incident? And the article was in Time Out Magazine. Terrible to see young couples with babies, and a younger influx of people moving in, definitely not good for Sunnyside! But the drunks, the homeless woman living at the 46th St. stop, the woman outside Dunkin begging for money, and the homeless shelter I suppose have nothing to do with anything! Crime has been on the rise all through New York and it’s unfortunate something happened here, thankfully no one was hurt.

There may have been casings found by 46th but there were definitely shots fired near 42nd as well. Sounded like they were shooting as they drove up 47th Avenue west to east.

47th ave and 46th st. That’s I.S. 125. Good place to bust some shots. Not like there’s cameras or anything…

A few years ago I predicted Sunnyside would be the new Detroit. I was right. To all the so called leaders who planted stories about sunnyside and how it was a trending neighborhood

You have failed your city

They ruined this neighborhood years ago with article in NY Magazine. This brought an influx of people who from Brooklyn and Manhattan who lived in shoeboxes for 3000. It is only gonna get worse..sad to say

I moved to Sunnyside a few months ago, and I heard what sounded like “Fireworks” late at night but couldn’t see anyway.

What should I do if I think I’m hearing gunshots say a street or two away as a good citizen, call the cops?

by the time the cops show up, it’s too late. best to arm yourself. apply for a fire arm license and get a powerful hand cannon. these thugs don’t care who they hit. just like in the church shooting in Texas today. the parishioners took out the killer.

Melinda Katz plans on cleaning out any lingering supporters who do not agree with the new Prison reform. So yes you are right to say that this will get much worse and Queens will see crimes go unpunished.

Glad no one was hurt. Eagerly awaiting posts about how we’re going back the 1980s, how de Blasio and van Bramer have teamed up to start a crime wave, etc.
