The police released video footage today of a man wanted for robbing Capital One Bank in Sunnyside last Friday.
The suspect allegedly entered the 40-20 Queens Blvd. bank at around 5 p.m. on June 24 and passed the teller a note demanding money. The teller complied and handed over $100.
The thief then fled the bank and walked eastbound on Queens Boulevard. There were no injuries reported.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). I saw the two suspects that match the description, both black males, one with Jamaican hairstyle and one riding on citibike near the Queens sunnyside location which is unusual.
I mean they should be able to track the citibike card information and match the photo of the suspect unless the bike was stolen.
