The police are looking for a man suspected of burglarizing three apartments in the Sunnyside-Woodside area earlier this month.

The suspect allegedly targeted ground floor apartments and gained entry by either pushing in the air conditioning unit or climbing through a window. He did so in broad daylight and took jewelry.

Police released photos of the suspect Saturday.

The first incident took place at around 10 a.m. on May 5, when the suspect broke into a 1st floor apartment located in the vicinity of 50th Avenue and 41st Street by pushing the air conditioning unit in. He then fled the building with jewelry.

The suspect allegedly targeted another first-floor apartment at around 8 a.m. on May 11. He gained entry to the apartment, located in the vicinity of 48th Avenue and 45th Street, by opening an unlocked window. Once inside, the suspect took a DVD player and laptop.

The man allegedly struck two hours later, at 10 a.m., when he pushed in an air conditioning unit to gain access to a 1st floor apartment located in the vicinity of 48th Avenue and 43rd Street. He then took jewelry and fled.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at, on Twitter @NYPDTips.

Bars on windas peeps!

They make them to encase air conditioning units! You don’t have to forgo safety for comfort or comfort for safety.

Which renter is going to pay for buying and installing burglar bars on every window with an a/c or all the windows on the first floor. Should people with fire escapes install them also? Most people including landlords around here can not afford to them up anyway.

Thanks to our incomparable mayor diblasio and his shelters in sunnyside.
The shelters are close to 50th and 48th ave. Even cats and dogs know better not to s*** where they eat.

Fox viewer solves crime

If he’s from the shelters then he’ll be super easy to apprehend since shelters have photos and videos of everyone who enters and exits.

Easy to find, and then what? Released ROR to go and offend again and again and again.

I want Mets tickets!!!!

oh, cool: let’s catch them and release them – that works out really well!

You’re very gullible

Broken record- Please provide one instance of someone receiving Met Tickets. Not articles stating it as an option but one actual incident.

State Senator Jessica Ramos dealt a serious blow Tuesday to New York Mets owner Steve Cohen’s dream of building a massive casino and entertainment complex on the parking lot adjoining Citi Field where Shea Stadium once stood.

Ramos announced she would not support the $8 billion Metropolitan Park proposal, rejecting major pressure from her colleagues in government, including Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, and community leaders from nearby neighborhoods, who urged her to support permitted use legislation that would be required to build the complex on state-owned public parkland.
