A 12-year-old girl’s butt was grabbed by a pervert at the 61st Street subway station on Friday, police said.
The girl was on the Manhattan-bound #7 train platform at about 7:40 am when a Hispanic man approached her from behind before she boarded the train.
The police are searching for the man who is believed to be between 28 and 35 years of age, and 5’4” to 5’6”.
The police are asking for anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

There should be a pair of cops that ride each train. If they couldn’t get away so easily they would think twice about doing it.

people need to wake up, criminals obviously know these trains have ZERO protection , start strapping some weapons and aim for the jugular . That’ll teach em.

There is too much of this kind of crap going on. The MTA needs to pursue aggressively installation of cameras at turnstiles, on subway platforms, and in subway cars. At least then, victims would have a chance at identifying perpetrators and giving the police a chance to track down these mutts. .
