Police are searching for a man who groped a woman while she was waiting for the 7 train at Grand Central Station.
The 40-year-old female victim reported to the police that she was standing on the Grand Central Station northbound 7 train platform around 12:50 p.m. on October 20 when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her butt.
She got on the northbound 7 train and later noticed that the man was also on the train. She went up to confront him and he laughed and groped her again.
The victim photographed him with her cellphone before exiting the train at the 61st Street Woodside station.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, around five feet six inches tall and 145 pounds with a birthmark on his left arm. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and dark pants.
Police have released a photograph of the suspect and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
