NYPD: Man Breaks Into Woodside Home, Wakes Up Woman Who Screams

Police have released video footage of a man who allegedly broke into a house in Woodside one night last month and woke up a startled 32-year-old woman.

The incident took place on Saturday, Sept. 22 between 1:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 50th Avenue and 41st Street, police said.  The man entered a two-family residence and the woman awoke and screamed, causing the suspect to flee though the front door.

Police had no further details.

Thank you for telling us about this 1 month later, and even then with a vague 3-hour window. Is there some kind of law that prevents police from releasing more helpful information? Then don’t say anything, just say “that night”.

This type of scumbags anger me more than anything else, even more than the bank robbers. If 108 does not catch and parade these guys, it will keep happening.
