Man Steals Woman’s Headphones on Woodside Street Corner: NYPD

Police are looking for a man who stole a woman’s headphones while she walked in Woodside last month.

The theft took place on Monday, Sept. 9 at around 8:40 a.m. on the corner of Newtown Road and 48th Street, according to the NYPD.

The suspect approached the 29-year-old victim on the street and took her Beats headphones before fleeing in an unknown direction. The woman sustained no injuries as a result of the robbery.

Police describe the suspect as a 20-year-old black man with brown eyes and black hair. They say he is roughly 5 feet nine inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing white sneakers, black pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt. He was also carrying a black backpack.
