How is that community policing working out? Never see a patrol car or officer in the neighborhood.

Just stop. It’s gotten much worse since DeBlasio and his “hands off people of color” policing.

liblies or lilly (whom ever you’re posting as)- Tennessee is a state with about 6.7 million in population, far from huge and not even in the 25% in population. Shoot back? So, you’re admitting guns just precipitate more gun violence, nice work. Since crime statistics are not categorized by labels such “stabbings” your statement is false and couldn’t be true. Please stop being so lazy and do a little research and respect peoples time and intelligence and have some self respect.

“ but what about shootings in other states that have completely different gun laws?” “ shootings that have absolutely nothing to do with the situation in our area?” Right, don’t address the deteriorating situation in our neighborhood, just point out something completely irrelevant to try to distract from the fact that the city is sliding down due to the “progressive “ mentality

@fan of dough boy: You appear to have a reading comprehension problem, you obviously missed the post or just ignored the post poster Mac directed his response to..You’re the one creating the distraction with your “irrelevant” post. If you’re so concerned about crime and criminals report what you see, document the infractions to 311 and even 911, everyone is packing cell phone video and cameras, report criminal behavior to landlords as well its much easier today then it was in 70’s and 80’s when I did it.

I live in the neighborhood and in recent years seen a spike in crime related deaths and attacks. Now shooting. How much and how many crime and loss of life would it take for the concerned authorities to take a serious action to counter this epidemic. Stem out the cancer before it grows and becomes uncontrollable.

Totally agree. Politicians seem to be looking the other way on crime but it is getting noticeably worse. The city, of course, likely fudges the numbers but it’s all out in the open for us to see. Our politicians are too tolerant, just as they are in San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and many other cities. Homelessness and crime are at unsafe and hazardous levels. Call your local politicians and complain, especially the Mayor.

and don’t forget the heroin needle site on 62nd and Woodside Avenue that was put there and the constituents never knew anything about this – and of course Mr. JVB never said a word as usual – the junkies are all over there since they put this heroin needle place there it is a disgrace – during the day it is horrible.

Rudy is the man that fixed this city from an unlivable dump, granted he then lost his mind. But give credit where it is due.
