A man was shot in front of a bar in Maspeth early Monday.

The victim, 27, was shot in the neck by an unidentified suspect at around 12:45 a.m. in front of Céilí House, an Irish bar located at 69-56 Grand Ave., according to police. The man is expected to survive.

The shooting, police said, stemmed from an argument between the pair.

It is unclear what sparked the dispute and police did not say if the men had been socializing inside the bar prior to the shooting.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst where he is listed in a stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made in the investigation is ongoing. The NYPD did not provide any further information.

Sad Republican Snowflakes

It’s hilarious when the republican snowflakes get all riled by the Gun Crime, thanks republicans thing.

Aw, their poor little feelings get hurt when someone points out it’s their guys refusing to regulate guns keeps them pumping into the country.

Sad little snowflakes.

Thanks Democrats for letting repeat offenders out to prey on more victims and blame Republicans for the 2nd amendment

The Republican party didnt exist when the 2nd amendment of the constitution was written. The Democrats are the direct cause of the increase of crime. ie Bail reform, defund the police, liberal DA’s and Judges that release violent criminals back into society. When the police catch this fool you will read about the long criminal past and say to yourself why was this person free on the streets? We need law an order or else all the hard working and good people will leave and the city will fall into disparity.

Easy Access to guns: Thank you Republicans

You know what else didn’t exist when the 2nd amendment was written? Semi Automatics like the AR15. Fortunately nobody died in this incident like all the innocent people murdered in these massacres : Buffalo supermarket (10 dead) ; at a Texas Walmart in 2019(23 dead); a Florida high school in 2018 (17 dead, 17 maimed)Texas church in 2017. (26 dead); a Las Vegas concert in 2017( 60 dead); Sandy Hook Elementary School, 26 dead and most recently Uvalde, Texas, 22 dead. US Constitution Amendment II A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

I was a Democrat for 39 years. The party has been letting out the criminals and refuses to prosecute most crimes since the beginning of De Blasio’s first term. If anyone is to blame it’s the Democrat’s and all those that are weak on crime. Take a closer look at all of the Democratic cities in this country and you’ll see the same thing.

Republicans believe in myths fairytales and conspiracy theories

Jacksonville, FL, Tulsa, OK, Oklahoma City,OK and Fort Worth, TX are all Republican ran cities with higher crime then the overwhelming majority of Democratic run cities. I took a closer look. The highest crime states according to FBI statistics are all Republican run like Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee and Alaska. Crime is a state issue that’s why court dockets say the people of the “state” Vs.The Defendant

Still a democrat

Tom- You’re just an example of the power of brainwashing. The weak on crime argument is a great one except according to FBI statistics crime rates are highest in Republican run states and cities. You’re right to worry about revolving door justice and street crime. Before NY enacted “reform” Oklahoma and Texas (2 conservative beacons) enacted reforms because of escalating costs. There are some people who belong in prison and most inmates agree. Say no to progressives not Democrats.

Gun Crime: Thanks, Democrats

Gun Crime: Thanks, Democrats for with bail reform when they are released the same criminals are buying more illegal guns. Law aiding citizens don’t buy illegal guns. it has nothing to do with the supply its got everything to do with the demand

Shooting are happening throughout NYC. There was also a Mass shooting in Harlem on Fathers Day Night right before Juneteenth. So sad.

City Council passes bill shifting broker fee burden to landlords, sparking backlash from real estate industry and key critics

Nov. 14, 2024 By Ethan Stark-Miller and QNS News Team

The New York City Council passed a landmark bill on Wednesday, aiming to relieve renters of paying hefty broker fees — a cost that will now fall on the party who hires the listing agent. Known as the FARE Act (Fairness in Apartment Rentals), the legislation passed with a veto-proof majority of 42-8, despite opposition from Republicans and conservative Democrats.
