MTA: Man Killed by LIRR train in Woodside

A man was struck and killed by a LIRR train Tuesday night in Woodside, according to the MTA.

The MTA said an “unauthorized” man was on the tracks at the Woodside station and was hit by a Babylon-bound train at 11:52 pm.

The train had left Penn station at 11:35 pm and was supposed to arrive in Babylon at 12:34 am.

Regular service was restored by 3:00 am.
