Ebenezer Church, a missionary alliance church located in Long Island City, is moving into the large 41-20 Queens Blvd. space that was previously occupied by the Nakwon Reformed Church.

Ebenezer Church, based at 43-02 38th Street in LIC, is looking for a bigger space since its current location can only seat 250 attendees, according to Charlie Ampero, a senior pastor.

The church has 300 parishioners and expects its membership to grow

Ebenezer Church is expected to move into its new 500-seat space next month.

On Saturday, Ebenezer Church held a community service at L/Cpl Thomas P. Noonan Park in Sunnyside.  Hundreds were in attendance, many of whom lined up to receive bags of free food.

I heard a Crunch Gym wanted to open up in that spot! but the landlord didn’t want to rent it to them! WHAT! WHY!?
We really need to get this gym here asap!

years ago this was a beautiful place it was the VFW 2813 Post. to bad they could not find a box store to move in. Better than a Cult Church named after Ebenezer Scrooge

Lots of people love this ‘God’ fellow. If only they loved human beings as much.

I welcome people who want to love God. I’m surprised in the previous commenters.

This place would have made a great DAY CARE. something sunnyside desperately needs. Where are all the damn day cares? We got all these kids and nothing to do for them. or a play zone for afterschool with tutoring? nope…another church .

NYSCI will be part of a $20 million initiative led by Columbia University to establish an AI Institute for Artificial and Natural Intelligence (ARNI), an interdisciplinary center that will bring together several top research institutions to focus on a national priority: connecting the major progress made in AI systems to the revolution in understanding the brain.
