Sept. 16, 2018 By Christian Murray

The Chase Bank branch at 47-11 Queens Blvd was robbed–yet again–last week.

Police said that a man entered the branch at about 2:10 p.m. Friday and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction and there have been no arrests.

The branch has been the target of several robberies over the years.

The branch was robbed in September 2016, July 2014 and December 2010. There were also attempts made in June 2018 and February 2012.

The police were unable to provide a description of the suspect as to Friday’s robbery.

This is a disgrace. Why can’t they just catch the SOBs that are doing this. Its called cameras, catch these bastards. This is the location where the band KISS performed for the very first time. I believe it was once called Coventry and then changed its name to Popcorn.
