Suspect (NYPD)

May 12, 2020 By Michael Dorgan

Police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into an apartment building in Woodside last month and stole a bicycle.

The suspect allegedly gained entry to the building at around 3:25 p.m. on April 29 by picking the locks of the lobby doors. The thief then grabbed a bicycle that was inside the building–located in the vicinity of 62nd Street and 39th Avenue

Police said the suspect then fled the scene with the bicycle in an unknown direction, police said.

The NYPD have released images of the alleged perpetrator wanted for questioning. The images were taken from the location of the burglary, police said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @ NYPDTips.

Why is race always brought up? By the looks of it he’s smart enough to pick a lock, a graduate for sure of one our great institution Riker’s Island which our Mayor wants to shut down – guess that’s not happening now the huge deficiets looming, no money to build billion dollar community jails now.

Well, was it left out in the open?

Not saying that’s just cause for taking it but we had a rush of thefts a few years ago and it’s because people were not only leaving things out in the hallways (fire hazard and therefore illegal) but also buzzing strangers into the buildings. People need not to be stupid or encouraging this. Putcho stuff away!

Is that rant related to the article at all?

The article never mentions his education level, and no one complained about racism.

It’s almost like you’re making assumptions based on his race…
