This didn’t seem to make too many headlines in other news sources…had this place been a mosque you’d have every politician and news outlet there. There would marches and candlelight vigils for days on end. But in the end probably ended being a drunk and crazy illegal who did this, just like the bums who hand out at the rainbow playground on Greenpoint Ave.
He hangs out under the lirr on 58st n 39th av with a bunch of other bums around 10pm i knew I recognized him !!
My side view mirror was smashed on Friday night.
Parked on 68th street by the park..
This happens regular..
Back window and sometimes side Windows.
My husband’s van also.
This crime is constant..
This is a very creative poem.
Anonymous maybe you need the “citizen” app on your phone. There are many incidents a day in the neighborhood and many of them are violent involving weapons.
That was not a nice thing that Woodside Man did! Woodside Man!
Maybe the same guy that was smashing car windshields and side-view mirrors on 41st street the night prior.
That was my home that he threw
Woodside is getting very bad for sure –
What does that mean? It’s widely understood that Woodside has gotten “better” over the years. This is one individual incident, and we don’t even know the details. Jose Peralta’s BS narrative regarding the level of safety on Roosevelt Avenue needs to be done away with.
You’re right , people throwing garbage cans through church windows is a sign of times getting better. One incident isn’t a crime wave but a consistent status of higher crime in the neighborhood is real. Not sure what you’re seeing with your rose tinted glasses, but crime and fear has increased in the neighborhood
Hola Sunnyside, Bulimic Panda here with truth virtue and unfortunate Chasity. The guilty man is innocent until makes himself guilty with English words. I pray no one was injured. Trash cans are very very very valuable in Sunnyside. If this can doesn’t go to the black market Van Kramer saved several dollars. I love all of you today and pray. Amen. Next year in Jerusalem. Amen.
