Sunnyside’s Veterans’ Outpatient Clinic Relocates

Sunnyside’s veterans’ outpatient clinic, currently located at 41-03 Queens Blvd, is moving location next week.

The Thomas P. Noonan Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic is moving to a new center at 47-01 Queens Boulevard (3rd floor) in Sunnyside, just six blocks from its current location.

The move will take place on Sept. 19 and the clinic is expected to be fully operational at the new location by Sept. 26, according to reports.

Administrators are assuring patients that the services they will receive will remain the same, and that that the move will not cause a lapse in services.

The center is named after of Thomas P. Noonan, who was killed in action in the Quang Tri Province of Vietnam in February, 1969. He was posthumously awarded the United States’ highest military distinction, the Medal of Honor, for his heroic efforts during the Vietnam War.

The park on 43rd Street, between Greenpoint and 47th Avenues is also named after him.

2guys and a truck …we are getting another bank on the blvd. we need alot of things in our town and another bank is not one of them.

The other doctor is moving too and the bodega and the old hair salon, allegedly to make way for a bank.
