A Queens Food Bazaar sold a $2 million winning lottery ticket this week.
The Powerball ticket was snagged at a Long Island City Food Bazaar, located at 42-02 Northern Blvd. on Wednesday. The ticket, which is worth a guaranteed $2 million, is yet to be claimed, according to the New York State Gaming Commission.
Powerball winners are drawn every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The winning ticket is the third to be sold in the borough within the last seven days.
A winning Take 5 ticket worth almost $60,000 was sold at an Astoria Stop-N-Go, located 22-55 31st St., on Jan. 30. Another Take 5 ticket, worth nearly $65,000, was sold at Flor Azteca Deli & Grocery—located at 48-12 104th St.—in Corona on Feb. 1.

wow, 2 million. nice win! cant believe someone actually won the lottery in nyc. that should at least afford you a broken down bottom of the barrel house in queens. oh wait, my bad, half will go the city in the form of income tax. there goes your high hopes of having a broken down house.
