A small fire broke out on the second floor of a 2-story apartment dwelling at 41-14 40th Street (beween 43rd Ave. and Skillman Ave.) at 2:52 am Monday. There were no injuries.

Firefighters arrived on the scene at 2:56 am and brought the fire under control at 3:23 am, according to a spokesman for the FDNY. The department sent out 11 engines and 60 firefighters.
