Thai Restaurant to Open October

Yum Yum, a Thai restaurant that will be located on the corner of 43rd and Queens Blvd, is scheduled to open in October, the owner said.

The opening of its Sunnyside location, marks the Manhattan-based restaurant’s first foray into the borough of Queens.

The owner said he will be reaching out to Sunnyside Shines to be included as part of the “Taste of Sunnyside” event on October 19.

Wow, there must be some sort of connection between Hell’s Kitchen and Sunnyside, since restaurants from there keep opening locations in Sunnyside (Arriba Arriba being the other). What other Hell’s Kitchen restaurant stars can we try to attract?

Anyone know if this is owned by the Manhattan “Yum Yum” folks? They’ve got a number of them in midtown… Good stuff.
