The suspect entered the BP gas station at 31-05 Queens Blvd. at around 8:35 p.m., approached the counter and handed a worker a $1 bill that included a note demanding cash.
The note allegedly threatened the worker with violence if he failed to comply, according to the NYPD. The suspect was handed a paper bag that contained cash.

This is De Blasio’s New York. His plan to empty out the prisons and decriminalize just about everything has resulted in this sort of thing. It was also approved by our city council members. Sadly it has caused loss of life in many situations, a loss of businesses and an exodus out of New York.
Oh please. DeBlasio’s “plan” was to bring equity to the bail system and stop the horrors of Riker’s Island. These are two very complicated issues and the voters have asked the politicians to address them. If you think there are better answers, let’s hear them! Why didn’t YOU run for mayor? Or are you planning your own exodus? Bye!
With no masks.
I don’t think the thief nor the clerk understand how gas station/ convenience store robberies are supposed to work.
every business worker needs to be armed, especially when its government wont protect him/her. this could have turned deadly. i say, ignore the law and conceal and carry. if criminals are being released and charges dropped, you have nothing to worry about.
Once again either a Black or Hispanic suspect. Why can’t we ever have a discussion on why there is so much crime amongst Blacks and Hispanics? You never see any Asians robbing gas stations. And many Asians come to this country poor and maybe Asians have not suffered the racist history that Blacks have in the US but probably much worse than Hispanics yet very little crime. But, it’s politically incorrect to criticize Black people and Hispanics jump on victim train.
You do realize you live in America where the majority of crimes are being perpetrated by white people? The crimes white people have committed towards their own families and other races during the pandemic alone teaches us why white people are 90% more likely become serial killers or shoot up their schools more so than other races
What about all the gun violence and crime in African American communities? It is never discussed. Black people are much more likely to be killed by one of their own instead of a white police officer. Never talked about.
