Two men were shot outside a grocery store near the Woodside Houses Saturday night, according to the police.
Police responded to reports of a gun shooting outside the Woodside Food Center, located at 51-15 Broadway on May 2, at around 7:50 p.m.
Police found a 32-year-old man shot in the torso and 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his leg.
EMS transferred both victims to Elmhurst Hospital and their injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
No details about the suspect have been released.

I was raised in the Ravenswood Housing Projects in LIC in the late 1950s-mid 1970s and we never had any crime there, but yet Queensbridge was dangerous and full of violence even then and it’s sad that generations later, it hasn’t changed. If you’re violent in one neighborhood and you move to another, you don’t change. Too bad there’s not a registry like for sexual offenders for criminals to let people know when they’re moving into their neighborhood.

I know this little piece of ghetto across from Woodside Houses is technically Woodside, I still consider it Astoria for some reason. The projects need to go period.,
Nice to see how much life in The PJs and The New Ghetto has changed since the swinging 70s … fine upstanding citizens I’m sure.
Cops are too busy chasing mask rule violators. What was the respond time and did the suspects flee on foot? Was this robbery, dispute, gang rivelery, why is there no detail. Did these two guys know nothing and just got shot, or they got into a dispute with heir weed dealers? Absolutely no detail makes no sense.
