Police are looking for a man who randomly struck a woman in the face with a hard object as he biked past her on a Woodside street over the weekend.
The 44-year-old woman was walking in front of 40-33 68th St on Saturday, Jan. 11 at about 11:20 a.m. when she was approached by a man on a bike. He struck her in the face with a object in a random, unprovoked attack, police said.
The woman suffered a laceration to the mouth that caused bleeding and pain. EMS brought her to Elmhurst General Hospital in stable condition, according to police.
The man fled south on 68th Street and now police are looking for tips to find him.
The suspect is described as being 20 to 30 years old and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and gray pants, police said.
Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). This is the reason why I give sidewalk bicycles a wide berth.
So, motor vehicles are Satan’s vehicles.
Some driver made him do it. Wonder do the new bail laws don’t apply to the evil fascist drivers? City going down the toilet.
This guy has been spitting at people on Woodside Ave and 60th street
What is up with these random face bashings? On the sidewalk no less.
A cyclist driving over the walkway instead of the lines, what a surprise!
