The police have released video footage of a man who allegedly swiped an 85-year-old woman’s wallet at the 46thStreet-Bliss subway station earlier this month after initially helping her get to the train.
The suspect helped the elderly woman get into the station at about 1 p.m. on Friday, July 13, before removing her purse that contained $130 in cash, a debit card and personal papers, according to police.
The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. The woman was uninjured.
The police obtained video footage of the suspect taken from 47-01 Queens Blvd prior to the incident.
The suspect is described as Hispanic and last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt, dark-colored shoes, and a blue baseball cap.

That is one of the stupidest remark yet, “undocumented immigrant?” Not every Latino is undocumented Jesus if you are living in Sunnyside please move and stop giving Sunnyside a bad reputation, not everyone is as narrow minded as you.
He may or may not be in the country against the law, but to say “undocumented immigrant” sounds like someone just misplaced their papers. Time to call a spade a spade, someone who is in the country against the law is an illegal alien. And by the way, I’m a third generation Sunnyside resident. My grandparents moved here in the 1940s.
