NYPD: Thieves Steal Woman’s Purse at Dunkin’ Donuts on 48th Street

The police are looking for two suspects who stole a woman’s unattended purse inside Dunkin’ Donuts on 48th Street last month.

The police released photos yesterday of the suspects who allegedly grabbed the victim’s purse from her chair while she had stepped outside the 35-00 48th Street establishment at around 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18.

The two suspects took the purse that contained $120 in cash and a debit card, police said.

The suspects are both female and Hispanic.

The first suspect was seen wearing glasses and was last seen wearing a colored jacket. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweater, black pants and white sneakers, according to the NYPD.

Wow, the only time they give out the race or ethnicity of the subjects is when they aren’t black.

Not true, when the suspects are Hispanic they also fail to mention it in the description.

Three homeless men were arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday and variously charged with felony robbery, attempted gang assault, and assault for allegedly stealing the belongings of a 69-year-old homeless man who was asleep on a Manhattan-bound 7 train in Woodside early Sunday morning.

The victim woke up and tried to regain his property. During the ensuing brawl, the victim fatally stabbed a 37-year-old assailant and slashed a second man. The victim has not been charged in the fatal stabbing. The investigation by the NYPD’s Queens Homicide Squad and members of the 108th Precinct in Long Island City remains ongoing.
