30th annual pumpkin festival taking place at All Saints tomorrow

The All Saints’ Church Pumpkin Festival is returning for its 30th year on Saturday, Oct. 14.

The event, held on the stretch of 46th Street between Queens Boulevard and 43rd Avenue, will feature vendors, food, face painting, and pumpkin decorating for children and families from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The church, located at 43-12 46th St, will have pumpkin pie, music, barbecue, and homemade cakes in the garden.

Past events have seen about dozen vendors show, offering toys, purses, clothing, and small gift items.

The pumpkin festival at All Saints Church began in 1987.

I take my doorbell and unwire it so it don’t ring on Halloween. I really can’t stand kids. They are annoying , not cute, annoying.

Twenty people indicted in Queens-based $4.6M vehicle theft ring after three-year probe: DA

Twenty individuals were indicted and variously charged in a wide-ranging scheme to steal cars in Queens, throughout New York City and its suburbs, following a three-year investigation by the Queens District Attorney’s Office, the NYPD, and the New York State Police dubbed “Operation Hellcat,” into the criminal enterprise based in Queens.

Some of the vehicles were stolen from owners’ driveways, some with the keys or key fobs inside. The stolen vehicles were often sold through advertisements on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. The defendants are charged in nine separate indictments for a total of 373 counts, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced on Thursday.
