Bank of America’s Sunnyside Branch to Open March 29

Feb. 23, 2010 By Christian Murray

The Sunnyside branch of Bank of America is tentatively scheduled to open on March 29, according to a Luis Rubio, who will be the small-business specialist at the bank.

The branch, to be located at 45-26 Greenpoint Ave., will have 15 employees who provide small-business services through to mortgage lending, Rubio said.

The bank selected Sunnyside as a location, since it represented a mid point, geographically, between its Jackson Heights branch and its Long Island City operation, Rubio said.

The Jackson Heights branch opened in June 2009.
