Man stabbed on 61st Street/Woodside 7-train platform, cops looking for suspect

61st

Nov. 8, 2016 Staff Report

The police are looking to question a man in relation to a stabbing that took place on the 7 train platform at the 61st Street/Woodside station last month.

The suspect reportedly got into an argument with a man on the platform at around 8 pm on Sunday, October 23, before throwing a bottle at the victim, hitting him in the back as he was walking away.

This led to another argument, at which time the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, causing a small puncture wound to his abdomen. The victim was not transported to hospital.

The man wanted for questioning is described as a light skinned Hispanic, 17 to 19 years-old, approximately 5’10” tall and 155 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and carrying a backpack.

A sketch is attached.

Be aware of any guy who is under 6 feet tall
And 150 pounds engaging in confrontations.
Pretty sure he had a knife or worse or else wouldn’t be mouthing off

In the city with cultural, ethnic, national and racial diversity, I guess the general issue of economic inequality along racial and social lines have caused crime to go up in the place where there is a opportunity for crime: the NYC Subway system during off peak hours.

Tell that to the scores of social scientists that identify poverty as an influential factor. But it doesn’t fit the racial stereotype backed narrative, so. It gets ignored.

Is there any word of an arrest of the Latino who robbed the 5 stores? There sure is a Latino crime wave in Western Queens.

Woodside was ruined since the late 70’s ,early 80’s once the cubans on the freedom flotilla came here (&miami) and the colombian drug wave started. Jackson heights/woodside/sunnyside went into a deep funk. 80’s drug epidemic. Killed these neighborhoods. Now its starting again with the mexicans. Its time to abandon ship, sell at a premium price and get out of here. Its time to move

Now talk like this is whats killing Woodside and our society. “Sell at a premium price”, are you serious? 95 likes, this disgusts me.

It’s true though. Went to vote on Tuesday and there were like 2 white people
And a crowd who didn’t speak English and I first hand witnessed a worker booking his buddy up and discriminating against a white guy. Reverse racism galore

But no its mta still living and ooerating like its the 80s.
