Police are searching for a man who tried to destroy the Christmas lights at a Woodside church by pouring water over the circuitry.

The suspect entered Corpus Christi Church, located at 31-30 61st Street at 7:50 am on Christmas Eve, according to police.

He then went into the utility room, removed a circuit breaker and then took a Christmas flood light switch and placed both items on the floor drain.

He then ran water over the two items before fleeing the church, according to the NYPD.

Police describe the suspect as a male, Hispanic, 5’9” tall, weighing 180 pounds.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspect and are asking anyone with any information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.

police descibed him as hispanic, clearly the man is not hispanic! every latino older guy i know has a kick azz head of thick hair until they drop dead. This type of balding is more commonly associated with white guys
