A small Korean restaurant will be opening in Sunnyside next month across the street from the Butcher Block.
The restaurant, to be called Mamma Casa, will be located at 43-43 41 Street, where Anise Fusion, a Thai restaurant, once operated.
The owner of Mamma Casa got the approved needed for a wine and beer license by Community Board 2 on Wednesday.
The establishment will have room for 5 tables, and will cater to 14 diners.
There was no mention of whether the restaurant will offer take out or delivery.

I’ve been in the neighborhood for over 60 years now and that use to be a vegetable stand named “McMuffin’s Vaggies” Oh how i miss the good ol’ days! But Korean food is probably the best food on earth and i hear Kim Chee is the new French Fries… ohh sorry i meant Freedom Fries. Maybe we can rename Kim Chee to Obama Chee. Or Trump Chee in 2016!

i lived here for a long time yet i dont care……because i like to cook and experiment with food ill try these places once or twice we order different items see if we like it then try and cook it at home. but then my job is a short commute and i dont have to work crazy hours or the work of 3 people.
