The Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual holiday lighting at 6 p.m. at Sabba Park (48th Street and Queens Blvd) on Dec. 1.
There will be a chorale group– led by Melissa Orlando from ArtspaceQ– who will perform Christmas Carols, Santa and hot chocolate provided by Starbucks.
Meanwhile, on Dec. 2, there will be a Sunnyside Holiday Lighting Ceremony outside Bing’s Hallmark (Greenpoint and 46th Street) at 6:30 pm. There will be hot chocolate provided by White Castle, Santa, tree decorating for children, the Sunnyside Drum Corp. and performers from the Sunnyside Ballet Studio.
On Dec. 3, there will be the Holiday Lighting on Skillman Avenue at 6pm. It will be located at Skillman and 50th Street.
On Dec. 4, a number of churches are coming together for the fourth annual Saint Nicholas Day Illumination and Carol Sing that begins at the Sunnyside Reformed Church (48th and Skillman) at 7 pm.

Even though the weather was bad it was a lovely event. No hot chocolate though!!!
Starbucks didn’t come through with the promised hot chocolate? Bummer.
