A middle-aged woman was found dead in the trunk of her car in Woodside on Monday, according to police.
The police found the body of Young Boo Byun, 42, of Flushing, in a black plastic garbage bag inside the trunk of a Honda Civic at 61st Street and Queens Blvd at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
The police examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide, saying she died of compression to the neck and chest.
Byun had been missing since Friday, when she was last seen after finishing her night shift job at a warehouse in Maspeth.

Sad story, a horrible way to go.
Sounds like a kidnaping. Wonder if it is connected to other crimes in the neighborhood. I hope the 108th knows what it is doing.
I know this is a stretch, but could it be the same guys who killed Lou Rispoli? I have a feeling these creeps hang out near parks which are isolated at night.
actually it was 61st Street between Laurel Hill Boulevard and Queens Boulevard — right in front of the park
What the hell is happening to our neighborhood/surrounding area?
Why aren’t any of these on the news? When someone walks in and shoots someone suddenly it is terrorism and gun violence and a lot of nonsense reporting, yet when someone is stuffed into trunk or when someone is abducted and tortured, it is not news. Media is really sucking up to stories that have political connection.
Have you guys watched good wife?
There’s a murderer on the loose …..and he won’t wait until that ice cream shop opens in Green point to find his next victim.
bizarre.
