30 inches!!?? cmon, what kind of ruler was this?
Still do not understand why people buy up a storm before storms. Bad for the health and your wallet.
So many memorable storms but they seem so long ago, except for the 2010 Christmas week storm. I’ll never forget attempting to take out of town family members to Manhattan with huge snow drifts on the 7 train platform and 2 feet of snow on the streets of Times Square. Fortunately the lessons learned from that storm have resulted in the excellent clean up response we experienced today. Here’s hoping we are one and done for the winter of 2013. The Mardi Gras fest should be a blast.
That Feb 2006 storm was amazing. 27 inches in Central Park, I measured 30 inches @ Lodati Park.
