Associated Expands, Key Food Does Not

The Associated on Greenpoint Ave. is expanding its store. Welders and other workers were working on the store on Friday as they were nearing completion.

Meanwhile, at Key Food, on Queens Blvd and 46th Street, nothing has changed. “The pardon our appearance” sign is still there and looks as though it will be there for a long time.

used to work at keyfood on 46th street. it’s like the worst place ever. managers are assholes, it’s filthy as hell. they have the space to expand, i’ve been in there, but it’s not even being worked on. it’s just filled with junk.

I’m ok if it’s another chain as long as it’s not dirty and an eyesore like the Key Food is. Please someone do something about this eyesore!

Can KF just give up that damn space so that we can have another something here? As long as it’s not a chain I’ll be glad.
