Man Rescued from Collapsed Scaffolding in Sunnyside

A construction worker was left dangling five stories high after the scaffolding he was working on collapsed, according to a FDNY spokesman.

The incident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. today outside 41-15 45 Street. The scaffolding collapsed on the sixth-floor level and firefighters who rushed to the scene pulled him to safety through a fifth-floor window.

The man was not injured, according to officials.

The cause of the collapse remained unclear.

That was in the building right behind me! I’ll bet the guy went looking for the ones who put the scaffolding together and kicked some ass!
