Queens County Market Back in Sunnyside on Saturday

Queens County Market, which connects communities with local food businesses, will be back in Sunnyside tomorrow (Saturday) with its pop-up food market.

The market, which features a diverse range of food types, will be at Sunnyside Community Services, 43-31 39th Street (by Queens Boulevard), between noon and 4 p.m.

Vendors will include:

  • Veda’s Cakes & Catering, with Guyanese chicken patties.
  • Taste of Ethiopia, selling Ethiopian fare.
  • Queens Comfort, a popular Astoria restaurant that will be offering homemade donuts and iced Stumptown coffee.
  • Tropisec, winner of the Best Dessert in the 2012 Taste of Queens event, will be selling her dehydrated fruit flowers at the market.
  • And many more.

This was such a great event. We purchased spices, cookies, tomato sauce….all kinds of great homemade items. So glad you posted about this event, I would have never known! Thank you!

omg if you missed it the first time you MUST visit this! Walked away with soo many goodies – baked goods – sauces – salsas and have enjoyed everything I purchased – this is a don’t miss!
