Police Seek Help in Finding Attempted Bank Robber

Alleged Robber at Chase branch in Sunnyside (NYPD)

The New York City Police Department has released a photo of the man it believes attempted to rob the Chase bank branch located at 47-11 Queens Blvd. on Tuesday, Feb. 14.

The man walked into the Sunnyside bank around 2:15 p.m. and passed a teller a note demanding money. The teller did not comply and the suspect fled.

The alleged perpetrator is also wanted for other incidents:

On Friday, Feb. 3 at approx. 10:15 a.m., the suspect entered the Chase bank branch located at 95-38 Queens Blvd, walked up to a teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money.

On Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at approx. 9:13 a.m., the suspect entered the Chase bank branch located at 104-17 Queens Blvd, where he walked up to a teller and passed a note demanding money. The teller did not comply and the suspect fled the bank empty handed.

The suspect is described as follows: M/B/approx. 30 yrs old., 160 to 180 lbs, 6’0″ tall, thin build. Suspect has dark skin complexion and a long face.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

At this day and age, look at the quality of the image their camera took… Guy looks like Jay Z for all I can say.
