A man entered Chase Bank at 47-11 Queens Blvd on Tuesday and demanded cash.
The police said that the man, described as a black male, presented the teller with a note at 2:55 pm and asked for money. According to one source, the note read: “Give me money, or I will kill you.”
The man failed to get any cash and then fled the scene. No one was injured.
The police were unable to apprehend the perpetrator and are still investigating the case.

Same bank robbed many years ago by Willie Sutton …
Now that was a bank robbery …..
Sure, the Police only succeeds in giving people tickets. When you need them though, there are nowhere to be found. Great!!
Good luck finding him. If our police dept was not so incompetent at taking reports seriously or at least took a stroll around the neighborhood a bit more often, we would not see these things happening in our neighborhood.
Velociraptor, what if you or one of your relatives was the teller who was handed that robbery note and shown a gun, would you be so snarky then?
described as a black male….oh no cant have them here….sometimes i come home very late after midnight and still feel safe walking home….
The biggest bank robbery in history was when the banks and their lapdogs in DC robbed the taxpayers and called it a “bail out.”
Pass me the kleenex.
