Ottomanelli & Sons to Open Burger Joint in Woodside

May 9, 2011 Staff Report

Ottomanelli & Sons, legendary New York and Woodside butchers, will be opening a neighborhood burger joint across the street from its current location.

The prime meat store, which has been located at 61-05 Woodside Ave. for 50 years, is expected to open its burger and belgian fries restaurant in late June. Its premium cuts are expected to find their way into the burgers.

My husband and ate at the Ottomanelli Burger place in Woodside
on Monday April 16, 2012. The burgers were freshly cooked and good
but the Belgain fries were not. I was very disappointed in the fries,
as having lived in Belgium for many years, I expected them to be great!
They were extremely over cooked.

Awesome. I used to occasionally get lunch at their Upper East Side branch when I worked up there. Was going to say that the neighborhood maybe doesn’t need another burger place, but then I remembered that there is no such thing as too many good burgers available, and Ottomanelli’s is definitely solid.
