Woman’s Purse Stolen from Sidetracks, Police Release Video of Suspects

The police have released video of two individuals wanted in connection with the theft of a woman’s purse at a popular Sunnyside bar/restaurant.

The incident took place at Sidetracks, located at 45-08 Queens Blvd., when the suspects–a man and a woman– started a conversation with the victim at about 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24.

While the victim was distracted, the female suspect took the victim’s purse from a chair and left the bar with the her male companion.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).

I’m assuming this is a superimposed post-edited video right? It would be weird for sidetracks to manually zoom in and out and track people as they enter the bar.

let’s return to sanity and close bars at 1AM, MIGHT BE BENEFICIAL TO HUMANITY IN THE LONG RUN !!

and just why are bars open until 4AM anyway? that’s an invitation to disaster-lets be reasonable and roll back closing time to 2am -might be beneficial to humanity in the long run !

I am quite confused.I don’t know who is stealing or what from the video. And nowadays they have much better cameras.

Blaming the victim is no longer acceptable, haven’t you heard? The theives are the ones to blame, not their target.

3:40 am Christmas Eve, not on Xmas Day. Still sad, but fair game for the Hooded Pelican and the little Cindy Grinch to try and steal Christmas. That nose is the ultimate finger print.
