I agree get used to Rikers boys…er you’ll be “wives” in rikers, so I should say get used to Rikers ladies.

Why do all of u have to argue with each other I don’t see the point. A child was assaulted in broad daylight that’s frightening. Were there no adults on the platform to call the police? And I really don’t care how many dislikes I get. It’s bad enough people assaulting other people but children? Not one of u has asked how is the child and his family. I think a lot of u have too much time on your hands.

Cary, you are absolutely right. Too many people on here have too much time on their hands. Nothing but complaints and not enough people here really care or will help. Kids are out of control at times and order needs to be restored. Instead of traffic cops giving meaningless parking tickets, why not have security placed at stations to keep the peace and order we all deserve and pay taxes for. We all know when school gets out. Lets pay attention at certain stations and get things cleaned up. Order needs to be restored end of story. Either that or keep these kids in school longer.

These commenter dum dums wouldn’t lift a finger …. unless it’s to disparage someone. The same folks that cry for responsibility moan and groan that the governor wasn’t there to lecture some bullies.

I can’t be bothered either!

How is the victim doing? I’m sure he’s very emotionally upset and my thoughts are with him. Is there a description of the poor boy?

His name is omar and he wasn’t beaten for no reason he was saying he was in a gang and he knew better

Teenagers … getting into fights? What will happen next? Back in the olden days, teens would sit politely on the train and carry their schoolbooks with a string wrapped around them.

Who takes these photos?

Where’s your cops at Alfa Donuts? This platform is crazy at this time every day and it’s directly across from JVB’s office.
He does nothing for this neighborhood.

The behavior of a handful of violent teens can’t readily be twisted into an anti-JVB sentiment. Maybe the next article will be better for you.

That’s like asking who’s your favorite crime boss, it’s so hard to chose.

If you were truly involved in the community you would know exactly how much JVB has done and continues to do for D26. Get more involved and then perhaps you will see it too as opppsed to just complaining about it

I’ve criticized Van Bramer in the past, but what, you expect him to stand around all day at his district office peering out the window with binoculars in case some tubby oafs start wailing on somebody?

“tubby oafs”… love it! Classic Brit talk! Unfortunately that term is an accidental compliment for such knumbsculls here on American soil

When is it crazy, I use it everyday. Maybe some loud teenagers, let’s not go crazy for one fight after school

If that’s the only reading to give the police information so you can get a few dollars you’re just as bad as these punk kids.

Giving info to the the police just for the reward may be mercenary but it hardly puts you in the same class as gang assault.

Not literally on his ass but I’ all teach him respect for others and push him hard in bootcamp. That’s what youngsters need these days hard work and discipline – Sgr Ermey
