Taste of Sunnyside

May 16, 2017 Staff Report

The seventh annual Taste of Sunnyside takes place next Tuesday and a number of local restaurants have already determined what they plan to serve on the day.

Arriba Arriba will be offering attendees traditional Mexican street food, The Lowery Bar & Kitchen will be serving veggie and short rib/brisket sliders while Mangal Kebab will be offering an array of kebabs as well as hummus and salad. Others such as Bar 43 will be offering Atomic wings.

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23, in a block-long tent, under the elevated 7 train at 46th Street. It will feature more than 20 local restaurants—representing a diverse selection of ethnic food– and tickets are still on sale.

General admission tickets are $40 and participants will be able to taste all that’s to offer between 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.
