New Cafe/Restaurant to Open on 43rd Avenue in January

45-12 43rd Avenue (QueensPost)

Dec. 15, 2017 By Christian Murray

A new café/restaurant is coming to Sunnyside that will be located in a small space on 43rd Avenue.

Ley Gastronomic will be opening at 45-12 43rd Avenue in the middle of January offering everything from breakfast to dinner meals. A large focus, however, will be on coffee.

The venue has room for five tables and about 16 seats. The space was previously occupied by Blaze Fitness, a private training studio.

The café/restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. most days.

The owner went before Community Board 2’s City Services and Public Safety Committee and was given the green light for a beer and wine license.

“We are going to be offering slow-cooked meals and people want wine as opposed to just coffee and soda,” the owner said at the meeting.

^^ what part sounds exotic? The slow cooked meals or wine instead of soda part?

And blazed fitness did not move anywhere. They will be back up ina new location once the new year starts and everyone creates their new year weightloss resolution. Its marketing baby

I’ve always said this would be an excellent space for a restuarante. I wonder, perhaps, is it too big of a space though? Either way, sounds very exotic and I will frequent it, when I come to visit Sunnyside.
